Wedding Dress Trends for Spring 2010
These are the hottest trends off the runway for Spring 2010.
1) Bits of Black
Dress by Jenny Packham
I love this dress! It is a specific style but I love the black.
2) Cover ups
Dress by Monique Lhuiller
From boleros to "capes," cover- ups were all over the runway.
3) Illusion Necklines, Sheer
Dress by Melissa Sweet
Illusion sheer necklines are going to be very popular.
4) Flowers
Dress by Melissa Sweet
From flower embroidery to actual flowers on the dress, this is a hot trend.
5) Bold Shoulders
Dress by Anne Bowen
Drama! Bold one shoulder dresses made a big appearance on runways this season.
7) Bows
Dress by Amsale
Bows on the shoulder, back, front, all over. Bows are a hot new detail.
9) Textures and Pleats
Dress by Vera Wang
I love the texture on this dress, and the pleats (or accordion style) is all over the runways.
6) Origami
Dress by Angel Sanchez
Bold shapes and edges are a hot new trend. I love this dress above.
8) 50's Flair
Dress by Anne Barge
Maybe it is the influence of Mad Men but the 50's and 60's look is back, a throw back to a classic era. Channeling Audrey Hepburn!
It's safe to say drama rules the runway this season. Have fun with it. These are great styles. It's going to be an exciting season.
