The Groom's Cake

The groom’s cake is traditionally southern, and while the groom's cake evokes memories of the red velvet armadillo from Steel Magnolias, this cake can be anything you want. Generally intended to be a gift from the bride to the groom, it is usually dark (chocolate) and a bit playful. The tradition is gaining traction in other parts of the country and more and more brides are opting for a groom's cake.

Yous can go in several directions for the groom's cake, traditional, modern, or playful. Below are some of our favorite groom's cakes in varying styles.
